Delivery Policy

We understand that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we’ll make every effort to process your order quickly. When the product is in stock and you order from our website before 3pm on any business day you can expect your delivery in 1-3 business days. If you place an order after 3pm on a business day or over a weekend / public holiday you can expect your order to be dispatched on the next business day. If the order is urgent, please follow up the order with a phone call to check on delivery times. We will not deliver to Post Office Boxes or any addresses which we deem suspicious. If your house is on the NZ Rural Delivery Postal route you’ll need to allow an additional 2-3 business days for delivery. Once goods are handed over to our freight provider we will not be held responsible for lost or damaged goods, or goods that have been delivered to an incorrect address but will follow up with the freight provider in any of these instances and find a solution. If your purchase arrives damaged please call our customer services number during office hours within 2 working days. If a parcel is not received in 5 days, we need to be notified immediately, otherwise we take no responsibility for the loss of the item. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the stated delivery times are kept, due to variables outside of our control, we cannot guarantee that the goods will arrive as per stated delivery times. If an item is out of stock, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as we possibly can.

Sales Taxes

We are required to automatically charge and withhold the applicable GST for orders to be delivered to addresses within New Zealand.


Please make your selections carefully as we are not required to exchange or refund due to a change of mind and or wrong selection of products, we will meet the requirements under the Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ) to provide a remedy should a product be faulty upon purchase or does not meet its description. However if you wish to return an item for exchange or store credit please contact our support team. Returned Items must be returned to Drive Gear in the original unmarked packaging and in good condition. If the items are being posted back, please ensure you pack them inside a satchel or box & do not attach anything to the outside of the original packaging. Should the packaging be marked or in unsatisfactory condition there may be a chance that we will not exchange or refund the goods.

Product Warranty

Unless otherwise specified, all warranty are provided by the manufacturer and range from one to three years depending on the brand of the item sold and are and are on a RTB (return-to-base) basis. Customer is responsible for shipping charges on returned and faulty items. We are responsible for another way shipping charges on faulty returned items only if the fault is covered by warranty. Most faults must be approved by and returned to the manufacturer before a refund or replacement can be issued. In this case we will keep you informed but please allow approximately two weeks for the processing of your faulty return once received. We shall not be liable to you for any damage to the Products due to external causes, including improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, usage not in accordance with Product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of supplied parts and components not supplied by us. Faulty goods returned for repair must be accompanied by proof of purchase. Repairs under warranty period are carried out free of charge. Where goods are not faulty, you will be required to pay for repair fee and freight fee both ways.

Pricing, and Purchases

Despite our best efforts, a small number of items on our site maybe mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will do one of the following:

– If an item’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.

– If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you with detials of the mistake and work out an acceptable outcome for both partys before shipping or cancel your order, provid a full refund and notify you of such cancellation.
